AVD Technology Office Interior Design AVD Technology Office was designed by BK BAU Architects in the Business Istanbul office campus in Fikirtepe, Istanbul, and was implemented by the expert staff of MENAR YAPI. In the office with a total area of 115 m2; There are entrance area and reception, 1 meeting room, 2 executive rooms, accounting department, kitchen and co-working area.
Since the total square meter is less for a user of 35 people, creating non-randomly functional workspaces that users can evaluate more effectively has been one of the factors that guided the design decisions. The required storage areas are also included in this compact plan scheme. At the entrance of the office, the reception and secret storage areas made of metal surfaces welcome the user. The storage areas, which function as the core of the space, refer to the raw state of the operating systems with their metal appearance. The fluidity of the space is desired to be ensured by the curved scheme that continues along the core, which functions as glass panels and metal spacers. Inspired by the fact that it is a Technology Office, these curves, which represent the data flow in printed circuit boards, are designed to provide a similar experience for users moving in the corridors.
The backplate, one of the main materials of the computer, which was produced by the technology company Apple in 1976 and entered the literature as the first ‘Personal Computer’, has been one of the main concepts of the AVD Technology Office. The wooden furniture in the office is designed with reference to the original color of the Apple computer. Specially designed furniture has allowed a warm atmosphere to be created in the working areas due to the color of the material. It is envisaged to create a visual definition of this concept by ensuring that the Wooden Contra plaques are built with metal in places. The open ceiling, all materials of which are painted in white, is aimed to provide integrity with the materials used in the project by revealing the systems that meet the technical needs of the office.
